years experience in providing pet owners with the peace
of mind that only comes with the knowledge that their
special friend and family member will be memorialized
with the respect, care and dignity that he or she deserves.
The
Agee Family has been servicing the South Louisiana
and Mississippi area since 1969. We service each pet
at our facility in Harvey, Louisiana. We
do not contract with other crematoriums or ship your pet out of town - they never
leave our care. It is for this reason that we can guarantee you your pet. We
are considered Louisiana’s finest pet Crematorium.
Our Prices
Our
prices are based on the weight of your pet. Please
refer to the "Cremation Prices" page of
this site for the exact cost of service. The costs listed
is for the complete service, including picking up you
pet at your veterinarian's office (in the New Orleans/Jefferson
area) private cremation, paper burial urn, cremation
certificate and returning you pet to either your home/work
or your veterinarian's office. We can schedule to pick
your pet up at your home, by appointment for an additional
fee of $30
Office Hours
Our office hours are Monday through Friday 9:30 to 5. We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and all major holidays.
We are a locally owned, family operated business that serves the Eastbank and Westbank emergency clinics after hours, Sundays and holidays while our office is closed.
Appointments
Appointments
are recommended . If / When a final appointment
is made with your veterinarian, it is a good idea
to let us know, so that we can coordinate with your
veterinarian. There is an additional charge for service
after 4 pm. We are closed on all major
holidays, including Mardi Gras and every Saturday & Sunday.
We do not charge extra to pick-up at the emergency
clinics after normal hours.
Non
Private Cremation
Although
it is not a common request, we also can offer a non-private cremation
for those who do not want the cremains (ashes) of their pet returned to them. Non-private
cremations are about half the price of private and start at $60 for a pet under
20 pounds.
Other
Services
Another
service we provide is a transport for your pet once he or she has
passed on. If your pet dies at home and you
need to have him/her brought to the veterinarian's
office or somewhere else in the New Orleans area,
we offer a transportation fee, this ranges from
$60 to $100 and does not include a cremation.
Urns
We
offer a variety of custom urns ranging in price from $5 to $200. Service
to our out of area friends is also provided at an additional charge. You
may send us your pet via UPS/FEDERAL EXPRESS/USPS and he/she will be returned
to you in about a week.
